How to Cook Chinese Herbs

How to Cook Chinese Herbs

Each bag of herbs will give you two days of medicine.

1. Place one bag of herbs in large, stainless steel, glass or ceramic pot (no aluminum or cast iron).
2. Add 5 cups of water and soak herbs for 30 minutes.
3. Simmer on medium-low for 30 minutes until about 2 cups of liquid remains.
4. Strain decoction into a jar, and discard or compost the herbs.
5. Drink ½ cup twice per day, warmed up or at room temp. Store in fridge.
